Fees

Individual adult, child/adolescent, family, couples and group therapy services are offered at a low cost to all members of the metropolitan Atlanta community.  GSU students, faculty, staff and alumni qualify for special fees.  Specific fee information for counseling and assessment services may be obtained by contacting the clinic.

I-75/85 Southbound: Take Martin Luther King Jr. Drive (Exit 248-A) to the second right on to Piedmont Avenue. Pass MARTA (on your right) and cross Decatur Street. Take the next right onto Gilmer Street and then another right to enter the parking area
I-75/85 Northbound: Exit at Central Avenue/Fulton St. (Exit 246). Turn right at Fulton St. Turn left onto Capitol Avenue which will become Piedmont Avenue traveling north. Pass MARTA (on your right) and cross Decatur St. Take next right onto Gilmer St. and then another right to enter the parking area.
I-20 Westbound: Exit at Capitol Avenue (Exit 58A). Turn right at Capitol Ave. heading toward Memorial Drive. Capitol Ave. will become Piedmont Avenue traveling north. Pass MARTA (on your right) and cross Decatur St. Take your next right onto Gilmer St. and then another right to enter the parking area.
I-20 Eastbound: Exit Windsor and Spring Streets (Exit 56B). At the second traffic light, turn left onto Central Avenue. Continue straight past MLK Jr. Drive. You will pass Underground Atlanta. Turn right onto Decatur St. Go about 2 blocks. Turn left onto Piedmont and then make an immediate right onto Gilmer St. Turn right again to enter the parking areas.
From Decatur: Travel east toward downtown Atlanta on Dekalb Avenue. Continue on after Dekalb changes to Decatur Street. Turn right onto Piedmont Avenue and then take next right onto Gilmer St. Turn right again to enter parking areas.
From Midtown: Travel southbound on Courtland toward downtown Atlanta. Cross Auburn Ave. and Edgewood Ave. Take the next left onto Gilmer. Cross Piedmont Ave. Turn right to enter the parking areas.

Georgia State Parking Decks

Georgia State University K and N decks are open to the community for $10 when the decks are not full. The entrance to these decks is on Gilmer Street. Please note that these decks often fill up by late morning.

To walk from these decks to the Psychology Clinic: Walk to Decatur St. and make a right. Cross Piedmont Avenue and you will see the Urban Life Building on your right.

Enter the building and proceed to the elevators. Ride the North Tower elevator (in the back of the building) to the 10th floor. Exit the elevators and walk toward the red wall where you will find our door.

There are a number of public lots or street parking nearby.

MARTA

We are located near the GSU MARTA Station, East-West Line and about three blocks from the Five Points MARTA station. The Clinic is on the 10th floor and can be reached by accessing the back bank of elevators. The Clinic is completely handicapped accessible.
